Yummy place cards!!!!!!!

We got our 'Save the Date' cards today. Wouldn't have bothered with them but we have to send them home to England to make sure everyone books the weekend!!!
Only problem now is we HAVE TO HAVE TO finalise our guest list and it's just toooooo complicated!!!!!!!

Went to choose our table linen today. Went in and the fella had them set up but we didn't really like them cos the pink was a bit wishy washy and the material was crushed!! Ewwww!!! But on spying round the room i noticed a gorgeous BRIGHT pink sash. So we're having lovely flat black material on our chairs and on the tables and pink sashes around the chairs!!! Oh im in love them!!! They so yummy!! The exact colours i wanted.
There's gonna be pink napkins and white plates.... scrum!!! And the centre piece is a funky bendy vase with white lilies in!!!!
Starting to get excited again now....it's real!!!

DRESS TIME!!!!!!!!!!

It's nearly here!!!! The flights are booked.... on 31st July my mama and 2 bestest buds will be here to help pick my dress and hopefully the bridesmaids dresses too!!!!
Hope they're bringing their walking boots with them cos im gonna shop the bejesus out of them!!! :P

Recession busting

Right, so haven't done any more planning so far...still trying to save and save and save and get all that boring stuff out of the way....then we can go spend, spend, spend and get busy.
We're a bit nervous of handing any money over at the moment seeing as the whole world is in a dodgy situation a la money and companies are going bust left right and centre! Plus, everyone is dropping their prices on EVERYTHING so there's no point paying more before we need to!

Smack it...

Right, we've booked our band!!! They're proper cool...seen them a few times!
They're called Smack the Monkey which just tops off the amazingness of them!!! And we're having a little surprise 'act' type thing! Whoop!!!

Sooooooo found a place on the net to get my flower girl dresses made cheaply (can't remember the web address)...
Have to get them made (unless i stumble upon some) cos we're getting the bright pink (with a black sash), which, believe it or not, is really hard to find!!!
All the flower girl dresses i've seen are pastel yuck! WANT BRIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! So mum showed me a Japanese site (where a friend of her's got her WEDDING DRESS from)....think we're ok getting the flower girl dresses from there cos they're just for the sprogs...bit scared to get the adult dresses from there, what with all the lumps and bumps and hip-y bits on laydeeeeeeeeeeeees!!!
